Spiced Almond Peach Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cans peaches in 100% juice
- ½ tsp almond extract or vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Empty 2 cans of peaches and their juice into a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour pureed peaches into a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a low boil, about 5 minutes.
- Turn heat down and simmer on medium-low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until sauce reaches desired consistency.
- Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients and allow to thicken for 10 minutes before serving.
