This Spiced Almond Peach Sauce is a favorite in our house! My kids always beg for it, and it’s so easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and healthy sauce that your whole family will love. Trust me when I say this it’s definitely one worth trying!

Not only are canned peaches a favorite in our home, they also require zero prep for sauce, making it a win-win. We love this peach sauce on its own, layered into a parfait, or swirled into oatmeal for an easy added fruit serving. This year we also paired it with our crispy fried potato latkes.

Spiced Almond Peach Sauce

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans peaches in 100% juice
  • ½ tsp almond extract or vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Empty 2 cans of peaches and their juice into a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour pureed peaches into a medium saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a low boil, about 5 minutes.
  • Turn heat down and simmer on medium-low heat for about 10-15 minutes or until sauce reaches desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients and allow to thicken for 10 minutes before serving.
